Theatre Longview

Theatre Longview is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community theatre on East Whaley Street, started in 2012 by a small group of theatre enthusiasts who wanted to bring adult-subject live performance to East Texas. It is now in its thirteenth season; the 2025-26 Season of Classics ran A Streetcar Named Desire, The Importance of Being Earnest and Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! The theatre is also home to Duck. Duck. Moose!, which it bills as Longview's only improv comedy group, and it produces the Laugh Out Longview improv festival. Auditions are open to the entire community regardless of experience level. Theatre Longview is a member of the Arts!Longview Cultural District, and its season is funded in part by grants from the City of Longview, the Texas Commission on the Arts and Arts!Longview. Memberships run from $25 to $1,000 and carry ticket discounts and voting rights in the September board election, with participating artists receiving a free basic membership.
