Tamalocos Mexican Food

Tucked into the shopping strip at 1809 W Loop 281, Tamalocos Mexican Food is the kind of place you find because somebody told you about the tamales. The name is a tip-off — tamales are the house specialty, offered with a range of fillings — but the menu runs a lot wider than that: street tacos, gorditas, enchiladas, tortas, big burritos, nachos, chips and queso, aguas frescas and Mexican Coke. Breakfast is a real part of the operation here, with breakfast plates, chilaquiles, revoltillo, and breakfast tacos, gorditas and burritos on the board. They do dine-in, takeout and delivery, and they cater. The City of Longview lists the restaurant as an active, permitted food service establishment at the Suite 110 address.
