St. Mary's Catholic School

St. Mary's Catholic School has provided Catholic education to Longview and greater East Texas since 1948 — more than 75 years on Hollybrook Drive. It serves three-year-olds through high school seniors on a single campus, which allows cross-grade-level collaboration and mentoring, and draws students from Longview, Kilgore, Hallsville, Marshall, Gladewater, Tatum, Sabine, Carthage and Gilmer. The school is built on four stated pillars — faith, scholarship, leadership and service — with a curriculum designed to produce well-rounded, college-ready adults and a focus on the growth of the whole person. It is accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops, recognized by the Texas Education Agency, and named to the Cardinal Newman Society Catholic School Honor Roll. St. Mary's also runs an International Student Program, a Homeschool Partnership and a Prayer Partners mentorship program, participates in Texas Education Freedom Accounts, and holds an annual Gala fundraiser.
