About
Preservation Longview is a nonprofit formed to restore the Rucker-Campbell Home at 433 South Center Street, a house the group considers significant to both the city and the state. That restoration is still its flagship project.
The organization has since grown into a reference and mentoring group for other people and organizations restoring historic property in the area, and it also runs the Historic Longview Farmers Market. It has received three grants from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and a hotel occupancy tax grant from the City of Longview.
