Papacita's Mexican Restaurant

Papacita's opened its doors in Longview in 1981 with a simple idea: a place where family and friends could enjoy dining together. It moved to its current home at 305 W Loop 281 in 1992, and somewhere along the way it became a genuine East Texas dining tradition. The staff is a big part of that, with local employees who have been there for decades, some of them second- and third-generation. The kitchen turns out Tex-Mex standards including mesquite-grilled fajitas, homemade tortillas, enchiladas, tacos, burritos and queso, alongside margaritas, daily specials and online ordering. The dining room seats up to 550, and two banquet rooms make it a go-to spot in Longview for large parties, fundraisers and family milestones. They also cater.
