Outlaws Longview Bar

Outlaws Longview Bar sits on East Marshall Avenue and has been part of the Longview bar scene for years, drawing a steady crowd of regulars, riders and anyone after a no-frills night out. Inside there are pool tables and a jukebox; outside there is a stage and a dance floor, which is where most of the live music happens. The weekly rhythm is a good part of the appeal: karaoke on Wednesday evenings and 8-ball tournaments on Friday nights, with the outdoor stage picking up bands and events as the calendar allows. It is a dive in the affectionate sense of the word, cheap and loud enough and staffed by people who remember what you drink. Hours run long, opening late morning and closing at midnight most nights and 1 a.m. on Saturdays. The Facebook page is where announcements and band lineups land, so it is worth a look before driving over. Longview has fancier rooms than this one, and Outlaws is not trying to be one of them.
