Longview Symphony Orchestra

The Longview Symphony Orchestra has brought live classical performances to East Texas since 1968, growing from an amateur ensemble into a fully professional orchestra now in its 58th season. Musicians come from Longview, greater East Texas, Shreveport, and the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with conductor Gregory Grabowski, Director of Orchestral Activities at Stephen F. Austin State University, on the podium. Beyond its ticketed classical and holiday concerts, the LSO runs free community programs like Bach's Lunches and elementary school outreach, and is a 501(c)3 supported by local sponsors and its volunteer Guild.
