Longview Christian School

Longview Christian School opened in September 1982 as Longview Christian Fellowship School, a ministry of what is now HighRidge Church, starting with 31 students across grades K through 12. It grew to roughly 120 students by 2000, merged with Maranatha Christian High School that year and took its current name, then bought a 20-acre central Longview campus — the former Forest Park Middle School — in 2012 and moved the whole school there that fall. In 2019, with HighRidge Church's support, the school became an independent community Christian school so it could partner with churches across East Texas. Enrollment now runs over 400 students from PreK through twelfth grade, plus an Early Learning Center. The school is affiliated with ACSI, competes as the Eagles, and offers athletics, fine arts and a community service program. It also runs The Mosaic Program for uniquely designed students and a Collaborative Education Program, participates in Texas Education Freedom Accounts, and holds annual fundraisers including the Impact Campaign Gala and the Eagle Nation Mud Run.
