Greenside Beverage Co.

Greenside Beverage Co. sits at the corner of Green and Tyler in downtown Longview, in a building Hudson Johnson and a business partner bought in 2021 and spent the better part of a year renovating. Hudson and Bessie Johnson opened the doors in August 2022, and the patio they used to sit on when it was still falling apart is now the heart of the place. The focus is natural wine — small vineyards, traditional methods, minimal intervention — alongside an assortment of beers including some made in house. Greenside also hosts live music, yoga, pop-up food experiences, and flea markets. The building shares space with neighboring businesses, and the Johnsons have been open about why they planted downtown: it's where Longview's local culture actually lives.
