Fisherman's Market Restaurant and Oyster Bar

Fisherman's Market has been serving seafood to East Texas since 1973 — a half-century as a local spot, from a location on Johnston Street in the Shops at Guthrie Shopping Center. The atmosphere is family-friendly and casual, for lunch or dinner. The menu leans on boiled shrimp, raw oysters and U.S. farm-raised catfish, with fried calamari, crab balls, fried oysters, crawfish boils, shrimp linguini, grilled shrimp salad, Cajun grilled shrimp and sweet potato fries filling out the rest. Texas Monthly lists the restaurant in its Dining Guide under Cajun. Reservations can be made online, and the restaurant books private parties and group events.
