East Texas Muscle Cars on McCann Road is where Longview goes when a stock power figure stops being interesting. The shop sells and installs aftermarket performance parts and does its own dyno tuning, which is the part that separates a real performance shop from a parts counter — you leave with numbers instead of hopes. The work centers on GM V8 platforms: engine packages for Corvette, Camaro and GTO, superchargers from Magnacharger and Vortech, AGP twin-turbo kits, water and methanol injection, Mantic twin-disc clutches and driveline components. The shop lists product lines for C5 through C7 Corvettes, F-bodies, G8, CTS-V, Trailblazer SS and GM trucks, plus Mustang, Charger and Challenger, and it has taken on Hummer turbo and transmission-swap builds.
