About
The East Texas Alzheimer's Alliance is an independent 501(c)(3) based in Longview that works to improve life for caregivers and for people living with Alzheimer's or dementia. D'ahn Fowler serves as president.
The alliance provides free in-home respite care through licensed caregivers, up to 20 hours a year per family, covering meal prep, housework and help with daily activities, and runs a weekly day club at Mobberly Baptist Church for $5 a day. Its service area spans 14 East Texas counties, including Gregg and Harrison.
