Cuddlebugs Learning Center

CuddleBugs Learning Center is a mid-sized child care facility and after-school program on Gilmer Road serving toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children — ages 18 months to 12 years — in Longview and surrounding communities. It is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and the company operates a second location in Tyler. The preschool and pre-K rooms use the Texas School Ready DIG curriculum, which the center says is built on research that children learn best through repetition, practice, and play, with instruction in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics and continuous academic and social assessment. Toddler rooms focus on hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities, and the after-school program covers art, drama, games, Legos, reading, music, technology, and homework time. CuddleBugs runs bus transportation from local schools, schedules 90 minutes of daily playtime, takes pre-K and school-aged classes on field trips, and participates in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program.
