Community Out-Reach Mission
Nonprofits & Community
Serving Longview since 1988
About
Community Out-Reach Mission is an all-volunteer Longview nonprofit that has run a food pantry and clothing closet since 1988. It was founded by Ruby Canida, Idean Dade and Johnnie Johnson, three women who set out to serve neighbors in need.
The mission focuses on older adults, single-parent households and people on limited federal assistance. Clients can pick up food and clothing free of charge, and limited rent or utility assistance is available when funds allow. Doors are open Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
