Christian Heritage Classical School

Christian Heritage Classical School has offered classical Christian education in Longview since 1994, serving students from K4 through twelfth grade on FM 1844. The school is organized around the classical trivium — Grammar for K4 through fifth grade, Logic for sixth through eighth, and Rhetoric for ninth through twelfth — and publishes a 12-to-1 student-teacher ratio and a 100 percent college acceptance rate. Its stated mission is to partner with the home in providing Christ-centered classical education that develops biblical reasoning and a desire in each student to savor God and serve his fellow man, built on three core values: pursue excellence, embody Christ-likeness, and value community. Students compete as the Sentinels in TAPPS, where the Lady Sentinels took Area Champion honors in volleyball in 2025 and the theater team placed first at the 2025 TAPPS District One Act Play competition. The school runs choral, orchestral, theatrical and visual arts programs, a National Honor Society chapter, and a Rhetoric robotics team, and eleven CHCS seniors were selected to serve on the Texas Bank and Trust Bank Board.
