Café Barron's

Cafe Barron's is a lunch and dinner restaurant on Loop 281, serving gourmet American fare in a polished, casual setting. It grew out of Barron's, which began as a Longview bookstore in 1972 before expanding into a specialty store with a women's boutique and home decor, with Jim and Julia Barron opening the cafe in 1995. The restaurant has been recognized by the Wall Street Journal, Southern Living, and Texas Monthly, and offers dine-in, private dining for events, and order-to-go. Cafe Barron's is open Tuesday through Saturday, with lunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 9 p.m., and is closed Monday and Sunday.
