Big Texas Auto Parts, also known as Big Texas Auto Salvage, is a used and recycled auto parts yard on East Loop 281 South in Longview, less than a mile north of Exit 599 off Interstate 20. The yard stocks parts for a wide range of cars and trucks. If a part is not already on the shelf or in the yard, the staff will run it through their parts-finder network and work on ordering it in — which is often the difference between fixing a vehicle and giving up on it. Shipping goes out by UPS or freight line for customers outside the area, so the yard is useful well beyond Gregg County. Hours start early, 7:30 in the morning Monday through Friday, with an early close on Fridays. Call ahead with year, make, and model and they can tell you what is on hand.
