Ollie's Skate Shop

Ollie's Skate Shop is an independent skate shop in downtown Longview at 105 W. Tyler Street, and it is set up for the lifer and the first-timer alike. The shop stocks skateboard decks, quality wheels, and components from a mix of international and local brands, so you can build and customize a board rather than settle for whatever is hanging on the wall. There is apparel too, including slim-fit Vans skate shoes. Toward the back of the shop sits a music stage and a roughly two-foot half-pipe with transitions on each side, which makes it a forgiving ramp to learn on, though you should ask permission before dropping in. Touring musicians come through regularly, and the shop's Facebook and Instagram pages are the best places to see who is playing next. Ollie's shares the 101-105 W.
