About
Longview Arboretum and Nature Center is a 26-acre botanical garden and nature center on West Cotton Street in Longview. It's a public/private partnership between the City of Longview and the Arboretum's board, and opened its first phase to the public on November 2, 2019, with walking trails and gardens laid out between the Longview Convention Complex and the Grace Creek tributary.
The Arboretum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., with general admission at $5 per person and free entry for members and children six and under. It's closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and the Fourth of July, and belongs to the American Horticultural Society's Reciprocal Garden Network, which gives members discounted or free admission at 380+ gardens across North America.
