HealthCARE Express runs a walk-in urgent care clinic at 1509 W. Loop 281, with an on-site lab and in-house X-ray. The clinic gives patients three ways in: walk in with no appointment, book an appointment online in advance, or do a virtual visit. Posted hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, closed Sunday. The clinic's published list of non-emergency services covers cold and flu, ear infections, headaches, back aches, sprains, fractures and dislocations, concussions, cuts and lacerations, burns, animal and insect bites, poison ivy, lice and scabies, along with vaccines, physicals, illness testing, drug testing, STD testing and pulmonary testing. School and sports physicals are offered, and the company also lists occupational medicine services for employers — workers' compensation, DOT physicals, drug and alcohol testing, vaccines and workplace wellness — plus imaging, birth control and hormone therapy as separate service lines.
