About
Green Street Recreation Center is the City of Longview rec center built around folks 55 and older, and an annual membership there runs just $15. Programming leans social and hands-on: activities, classes, day trips, and events across the year, with a dominoes and card-playing room, computer classes, and a big open floor for luncheons. A retro diner connected to the full kitchen is the newest addition.
The center sits on South Green Street and is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Longview's Universal Plan membership also covers Broughton and Paula Martin Jones, so a single pass opens all three. Outside business hours, Green Street rents for private events with a two-hour minimum, an open floor plan, full-service kitchen, and dining area. Youth memberships across the city rec centers are free.
